Christmas Morning

Love this baby. She loved Christmas morning with all the craziness and paper everywhere!

I had so much fun wrapping gifts in brown paper with fun string and chalkboard names.

This was one of my favorite gifts this year. My mom is a super talented sew-er and made this blanket for my family. Loved all the patterns and the color... you can't go wrong with RED! The best part of all, it smells like her house!

So, my front room tree this year was fun in so many ways!! I loved the idea we came up with to use an old chuck of tree for the stand. And that my hubby is ridiculously skilled & can make any thing I dream up. {Love our team}  I am really into the gold and neutrals, with lots of texture. Now, I just need to come up with something to hide the obnoxious cord!

Even though I enjoy decorating my tree in the front room, this tree is my favorite. I love that it is filled with memories. Old ornaments from when I was a little girl, things I have made, some from friends and family, pictures of our family and kids. Hand crafted ornaments from G & P fill this tree and add character and charm. Best part of Christmas decor.

Stockings were hung.

Love his classic expression.

Santa brought scooters!!

I love that this girl loves getting ANYTHING wrapped up.

This sweet baby went crazy over wrapping paper!!

Ry trying to teach Pyps to ride the scooter was classic. Seriously.

Clothes for Christmas?! Heck yes.

Ladies Man

I L.O.V.E. this boy. After school he runs in shouting, "Mom, MOM!!! I am pretty sure THREE girls at school love me. They asked me for my autograph today because I scored TWO touchdowns at recess....what?! I'm just sayin." I controlled my laugher.

Magic of the Season

To be totally honest, I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude for the sound of Christmas music and giggles that filled my house this afternoon. I cried with joy as I watched my sweet girls all dressed up, holding hands and dancing around our family room. I feel so blessed to be able to hold them close and celebrate this beautiful, magical seasons with all of my babes. I am so heartbroken for Connecticut.

Christmas Preschool Program

Pyper's preschool class had a little Christmas performance today before the winter break. I am still in shock she stood in front of a crowd and actually sung. {Pyper is ridiculously shy}  But it was oh, so cute. I loved the reindeer antlers and red noses. Lots and lots of giggles! I am so grateful Ryan & my mom were able to come to Pyper's little performance, I know it means so much to her. My mom has always been a great support in my life, in every adventure, heartache, trial, or circumstance, she is there. Always. So happy she was there today.

beautiful december night

The zoo lights have nothing on this. Seriously. The whole setting: the beautiful choirs singing, the elegant lights, the phenomenal nativity display, family's bundling together, the star, the feeling and spirit of Christmas. I love every bit of it. One of my favorite Christmas traditions. Whether you are a member of our church or not, it is the most amazing Christmas display you will ever see.. and feel for that matter.

Yes, as a matter of fact we are obsessed with this little beauty. She is the sweetest, most cutest, little bundle of laughter and love in our home. Each and every member in our home is crazy about her! How couldn't you be?!

This week you were really ,really sick O. I always hate it so much when you are sick and miserable. You stayed in your jammies for most of the day today, but Daddy thought you could use a little fresh air. You two went outside & he was exactly right. You would never know from these pictures that you were really sick. That's the kind of sweet baby you are.

5 years

I know birthdays are like an annual thing, but really... FIVE?! I can't stand it. I swear we must have jumped ahead somehow. You get all the more beautiful with every passing day. You have the cutest/craziest personality a girl could get. You are the life of the party at our house. Always dressed with a crazy outfit on, a collection of random stuff in your pockets and talking to your imaginary friends left & right. I love everything about you. Five of my very favorites are- Your silly, uncontrollable and very contagious giggle...just thinking of it now makes me smile. Your heart. So innocent and pure, very tender. Your ability to talk your way out of any situation. It is hilarious. When you get in trouble, I usually put you in time out and have to walk away out of fear for laughing about what you are telling me, or why you did something. Crazy girl. Those beautiful marble blue eyes. They are killer. Especially when you are tired. Daddy calls them your sad eyes. Your two left feet. As crazy as it sounds, it's adorable. We love to watch you run, dance or climb. Seriously Pyper Jane. You are one of my favorites in the whole wide world. I can't imagine my life with out adorable you. It wasn't by chance or accident you came into our lives when you did & they are forever better. Happy fifth birthday gorgeous girl.

Dinner @ Grandmas

Feeling beyond blessed this year. I loved hearing the ideas and thoughts our little family came up with for our "Thankful Tree". Most of them had to do with each other and were silly, but they didn't forget things like our beautiful country & freedom, the gospel, temples, family, work, education, houses, vehicles, Jesus Christ, living prophets, and so on. I love my family & am so incredibly grateful for each member and the uniqueness they bring into it. Loved spending Thanksgiving dinner and Grandma & Grandpa's house in Mesa. So many wonderful memories there! Now...onto the Black Friday SHOPPING!!
